Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted education in African countries, leading to widespread school closures that affected millions of learners. The Association for the Devlopment of Education in Africa (ADEA) has worked closely with member countries to support the continuity of education at home. This report provides a comprehensive overview of national strategies implemented to ensure ongoing learning, including the use of digital platforms, radio, television, and print materials.

The document highlights the challenges faced, such as limited internet access, geographical disparities, and socio-economic inequalities that hinder effective remote learning. It underscores the importance of inclusivity, emphasizing the need for targeted support for marginalized and vulnerable learners.
